The highlight of this recipe for me is that it take 25 minutes total and there is no added sugar! We are planning a little trip back to the berry farm next month and I'm so excited to use my pickings for more jam.
Ingredients
2 Cups Fresh Strawberries; cut into quarters
2 Tbls. Organic Maple Syrup
2 Tbls Organic Chia Seed
2 Scoops of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1 Tsp. Organic Vanilla
1/2 Tsp. Organic Cinnamon
Directions
1. Add fresh berries, maple syrup and cinnamon to sauce pan and cook for 15 minutes over medium low heat. Stir every few minutes to break down strawberries and help release their natural liquids.
2. Add chia seed, 2 scoops of vital proteins collagen peptides and vanilla and cook for another 15 minutes string every few minutes. Watch your temperature at this stage to avoid burning the chia seeds on the bottom on the pan.
3. Remove from heat and transfer to glass jar with lid. Move to fridge once cool.
Come back Friday for more on our trip to Sweet Berry Farms!
