A Week's End

We made it to the last day of this girls work week and boy is she excited. The last two days were spent in our quarterly sales meeting which = a lot of powerpoint presentations, after work activities, and little of my normal work completed. Today I'll have to practice my time management skills and get some sh*& done!

While I do that, here are a few moments from this crazy week!

An evening on the patio spent drinking wine, blogging, and watching a Summer thunderstorm roll in. #MyHappyPlace

A picture perfect pie that I have lusted after all week and will be making this weekend.

Just because flowers from my sweet husband that does such a great job reminding me about where his heart is.

I should start by saying, I'm not a huge car person. I've driven my dad's Corolla since December 2006 and have loved every second. The car is nine years old but the AC worked great, the radio was loud and it runs like a top. That being said, we have been talking about wanting to have one car in the family that was little bigger for trips, etc. We decided to list it just to see what would happen and three days later it sold. I had no idea how sentimental I was about that car. It is silly, but Tanner and I had our first kiss in that car and it has been with me the last seven years. I feel like a car is a silly thing to be attached to, but here I am, sad that my little old car is gone.

I hope y'all have an amazing weekend! We are going to do a few things around the house, car shop, and see our sweet God Baby on Sunday (YAY).

See you Monday!

Linking up with LaurenLaurenAmanda, and Jennie. Go stop by these sweet ladies spaces!

  1. I've also been driving a corolla since 2000! although it's not the same one! Those flowers are beautiful.

Thank you so much for following along and sharing your thoughts! I read each one; they mean the world to me!
