Happy Tuesday! I hope y'all had a fantastic weekend with family and friends celebrating the fullness of Easter!
We had a great weekend soaking up all the glory in His resurrection and what it means for our lives. We enjoyed Good Friday with a second year tradition of service at the Long Center, which is by far the best Good Friday service I've ever been to, with TV's parents and sister's BF. Then we had them back over to visit and enjoy a steak dinner and drinks at the house. It was great!
The rest of the weekend was spent picking Texas wildflowers for our Easter Nests, making Easter Cookies, and hunting Easter Eggs. I'm constantly reminded how much God has given me with this amazing family I get to be a part of. Weekends like this make me so grateful for parents that raised us with forever grateful hearts for the sacrifice that was made when he bared the cost of our sins on the cross. Weekends like this make me grateful for sweet traditions that are kept alive even when we are a little too old, like making Easter nests for the bunny to put our dyed eggs in, or making tasty sugar cookies shaped like crosses, eggs, and bunnies. Weekends like this make me grateful for a husband that was raised in a family that held close and still do all the same beliefs, and traditions we do.
Here are a few moments from the celebrations!
It is impossible to get everyone looking in the same direction...silly is more our style.
Hope y'all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
Linking up with Mingle Monday!
