I Have An Oopsie Problem

Happy Thursday, Love Bugs!

It came to my attention that I may have a few new faces around here, so I thought it might be nice if we got to know each other a little better.  Please pick the path that suites you best!

First Time To The Blog...

Well, I'm this excited you are here!
Now, I think we should go on our first date, and then since we are going to hit it off so well, let's go on a second date. (Don't forget to come back here after our second date!)

If it is not your first time, or you're just not into dating me...

Let me tell you one thing that most everyone who knows me well has experienced...I have an Oopsie Problem. Some might call this clumsiness...I think it's actually a disorder.  No matter how hard I try, I spill or break something big at least once a week.  My mother has called me butter fingers from a very young age, and wouldn't allow me to handle most of her glass pieces.  She was very happy when Tanner came along and could take over the weekly clean-ups...it also gave her a chance to build her dish collection up again.  Over the last few years Tanner has documented each of my little oopsies; they live in a folder on his phone and only come out when he needs a good laugh.  Today I thought I might share a few recent ones that I can now laugh at too...

This would be the contents from our glass jar of Mayonnaise that I knocked over with my own hand when I was reaching for the lid...I was gagging when I cleaned it up...didn't eat Mayonnaise for months.

This one is a little older...it happened a few months after we moved into our house.  We had just gotten new tile....with light grout...and I kicked a full bottle of dark purple nail polish off the counter.  As it is falling, I thought to myself, "Not Again!" Yes that's right, this is the second time I've done this.  Our grout is still pink, and it took be a whole bottle of polish remover and 5 coats of paint to cover that molding.

This would be a coffee mug, filled to the top with coffee, that I thought I was sitting on the counter, but turns out I was actually just dropping into thin air.

This would be the $60 iron that lived in our house for one day before it died.  Turns out that my engine(butt) didn't quite have enough room for me to bend over, so it hit the ironing board which lead to our new irons fall to the floor...

In conclusion, never let me hold anything that you don't want to end up on the floor.

Thank for stopping by today!  I hope yall have wonderful rest of your day, and don't forget to come back tomorrow.

  2. Ugh, I have the same disorder! I recently dropped an open bottle of laundry soap and my floor is still slippery in spots, despite several rounds of mopping. Not fun, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. :) I'm a newer reader and I think your blog is super cute!

I feel like a $60 iron should be able to handle a fall... you should get your money back. Yeah? Yeah.

    I found you from Sam's blog :)
