River Floats & Tea Parties

Weekends like this one make it hard to want anything but another day.  How can you want a Monday at work when you've had two days of good food, time in the water, yummy drinks, and sweet moments with family? If I'm being honest, it wouldn't matter if we did nothing fun during the weekend, I don't think I'll ever like when Monday rolls around.

Here are a few moments from the last two days...

We started the weekend with a little shopping and dinner at The Grove with Tanner's sister and boyfriend.  Loving this new Kendra Scott piece, and the Cab flight we got with dinner.

Tanner and Doug called each other to plan their outfits.  Just adorable.
On Saturday we got the kiddos and decided to try out a new place called East Side Tubes.  They opened a few months ago and have already received a lot of attention from local water lovers. They offer a 2-ish hour float down the Colorado for $15.00; includes tube and shuttle fair.  It was easy and fun.
Mr. Luke requested Stubbs for lunch.  I don't know why water activities make you so hungry.
We ended Saturday with more food and my favorite juice...
Yesterday we joined the ladies on my mom's side to celebrate the upcoming wedding of my second cousin, Faith.  My cousin did an amazing job putting together an afternoon tea bridal shower.  She gave everyone a chance to share a few words of wisdom with the new bride and groom on these cute themed cards.  The tablescape was shabby chic inspired with sweet touches of antique tea sets, and yummy afternoon treats to complement the tea.  Pinterest was all up in this shower; I will be stealing a few of these ideas for my next hosting duty!
3 generations of beautiful ladies!
Love this tea set!
Everyone got to fill a mason jar with their favorite tea bags.
How was your weekend?

  8. Well, let the children explore their inner talent in preparing sushi party recipes, so that they may feel how the fun begins.
