Weekend Fun

I can already feel the Mondays coming on strong, so I will keep it short a sweet tonight. I'm hoping to soak up every last bit of the weekend that was half lazy and half productive.  And one I can walk you through in about few sentences and a hand full of pictures:) If you are new to this little space, I'm very happy to have you, and think you should abort this post and go on a few dates with me so we can get to know each other better!

Sparkles on my feet for Friday night dinner at Jack Allens with Mr. V.
Saturday morning started with a hot bowl of steel cut oats with fresh strawberries and a perfect cup of coffee.  We had a few hours to kill before we braved World War Z, so we decided to get our Texas history on at the Bob Bullock Museum.
Why wouldn't you put fish on the back of your sitting couch?
There were Comanches in Texas until the late 1800's...say what?!
This is how I feel when they come to take my dessert plate.
We ended our weekend with a pallet picnic, a couple good records, and a few good hands of GinRummy.
This would be my sad loser face and his strange happy winner face...
I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
