This weekend we traveled to Iron Mountain, MI to celebrate the wedding of a two dear friends. Tanner and I were so excited to watch such a sweet couple make the promise of forever, and we pray for God's many blessing on them. The wedding went off perfectly in the beautiful setting of the Michigan mountains. Tanner and I were so amazed by how beautiful that land is; so green and lush. The air is also so crisp; we woke up to the 40's and landed in Texas to be greeted by low 90's...that is the way Texas welcomes you home.
Tanner and I stopped into Lambeau Field on our way up to Iron Mountain. The stadium is open all day to the public and we heard great things about the food at Curley's Pub. So we had no choice but to stop in to see if it was true...and it was.
We drove past mile, after mile of dairy farms on our to Michigan. It was so refreshing to see the hard working families that maintain these beautiful pieces of land.
They have waterfalls up there situated just off the side of the road like it's no big deal.
They held the wedding on the families property, and I was in love with the beauty of their land. Everything was just perfect and so green. I resisted the urge to take my shoes off and walk through all the grass...
Beautiful Bride & Groom.
How was your weekend?
