High Five For Friday!

1. I started a bible study last week called Captivating.  I'm excited to see how God will use this to work in my heart.

2. I've been wanting the Naked2 pallet from Urban Decay for quite some time and finally purchased it.  The colors are just amazing; I'll share a tutorial soon!

3. We have slowly been working on our D.I.Y crate project after work, and are almost finished. I can't wait to show yall.

4. On Monday I got to my car after work to find a very special gift and a note.  The note was from Tanner; he shared one of my favorite verses from Song of Solomon, and a few words about us. There is so much a heart can get out of reading notes like this.  Especially when you are blessed with a whole week of them.  In that first note he also shared that I would receive a note and gift for the next 7 days, ending on Sunday, my birthday. It has been very special to receive these...

5. This weekend my baby sister is graduating from high school.  I'm 7 years older than her, and pretended she was mine while we were growing up.  Every morning I would get her up with a cup of hot chocolate, get her dressed, hair done and ready for her day.  She was my real-life doll, and now one of my very best friends. Last night I started putting together flower arrangements for her graduation party, and realized that I may have a hard time with her growing up. And, I may also be getting old...

How did your week go?  What are you looking forward to this weekend?

  1. This might be the sweetest thing I have ever read! Our church just did a 4 week study on the Song of Solomon and it was one of the best things I have ever heard! So amazing! And I know how you feel about your sister. My brother and sister are 11 and 9 years younger than me, and it brings me to tears to see how grown up they are now and what amazing people they have become. I don't know what I will do when they graduate high school!

  2. Awww, this is such a sweet post. I love hearing about happy things like theses; it sounds like your life is very blessed! Happy birthday to you and congratulations to your little sister!

Thank you so much for following along and sharing your thoughts! I read each one; they mean the world to me!
