The Finished Product - Formal Dinning

When we moved into our house last spring, it needed a lot of updates.  We prioritized our time and money on updating the "skin" of the house; floor, walls, texture, fixtures, cabinets, etc. We finished most of that late fall, and are now moving onto the fun part: decorating.  I'm living the "one-room-at-a-time" approach, and decided to tackle the dinning room first.

I started off creating an inspiration board, which ended up really helping me during the two month period of shopping for all the little pieces.  It's funny how easy it is to get distracted when you walk into a HomeGoods!

The tablescape will likely change with the seasons and holidays, but for now I'm happy with the simplicity of this setting. I'd love to hear yall's thoughts!

I love a table that invites you to sit.  Some of my best laughs are around a dinning room table.  I'm hoping this table will welcome many friends, hold many full plates, and keep lots of laughs for us to cash in one when we need a good smile.

Happy Tuesday!
