Cold Weather Comfort Food

We have drizzle and cool weather today, and nothing compliments it like a big bowl of chili and cornbread.  Tonight I will share my twist on the classic winter chili - I hope you like it!

Venison Fiesta Beans

1/2 lb of Venison or Ground Beef
1/2 Medium Onion Diced
1 Can of Pinto Beans (Drained & Rinsed)
1 Can of Kidney Bean (Drained & Rinsed)
1 Can Sweet Corn (Drained)
1 Can Petite Diced Tomatoes
1 Can of Tomato Paste
1 Can of Tomato Sauce
1 Can Beef Broth
3/4 Cup of Water
1 Pkg. of Ranch Dressing
Season to Taste with - Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt, Chili Powder, & Onion Powder

~ Saute the meat and onions together.  
~ Mix in remaining ingredients and season to taste.
~ Cook on medium low, covered, for 35 minutes - Stir occasionally.

Serve this with some sweet cornbread and enjoy next to a warm fire!
